Sales prices in all counties increased in May 2017 over May 2016 with Wilson County coming in with a 12.8% increase. Five counties still show a 7.1% to 9.3% increase over May 2016. Only Robertson had an increase below 5% over the prior year. The Median Price in Williamson rose 10.2% in May 2017, compared to the same time frame last year.
Unit Sales in May 2017 increased in 6 counties, with only Robertson reporting fewer closings this year over last. Sumner and Rutherford both increased unit sales by more than 8% this May over last year. Williamson, Davidson & Rutherford had small improvements in the Months of Supply. All other counties remained flat to last month. The Under Contract-Showing numbers are not considered in the above.
New Home Sales compared to Existing Home Sales rose by as much as 2.0% in 4 of the counties. Williamson continued at 35.6%, while the remaining counties had minor improvement in New Home closes.
